OBJECTIVE

To deepen our understanding of sustainable economic and community development as well as broadening our views on the entrepreneurial spirit and the so-called Next Big Thing.

SPEAKERS

This event will feature four distinguished speakers from different corners of our regional community. The two speakers from private industry are trailblazers in the exploration of natural resources in Texas or new markets in other parts of the world. The two speakers from the public sector are architects for a more livable (and happier) local community.

AUDIENCE

The topics are of interest to (1) university students, particularly those majoring in business, social sciences, physical sciences and engineering; and (2) local entrepreneurs, citizens and public policymakers.

FORMAT

Each session includes a 30-45 minute presentation by the speaker, followed by Q&A's and comments from attendees and other participants.

ADMISSION

All sessions in this forum are open to TAMU-CC students and the general public with free admission.
